Adopt-a-park

There are many parks and open spaces in Newton. Help us work with the dog owners that use these spaces by serving as the Adopt-a-Park liaison.

Adopt-a-Park liaisons are the contact person between off-leash users of the park and the city or NewtonDogs. They are the main person responsible for contacting the city if there are problems (barrel needs to be emptied, etc.). They are also the main person for us to contact if we need to communicate with the users of the park (someone is complaining about a dog barking early in the morning, dogs on wet playing fields are damaging the turf, etc.).

If you would like to adopt your park, please let us know by sending an email to newtondogs@yahoo.com and telling us the name and address of the park you would like to adopt. (Parks can have more than one liaison, so if there's already a liaison for the park you visit, go ahead and adopt it too.)
