Many MA communities permit dogs under voice control off-leash in all public parks and open spaces at all times (see leashlaws). This is a very limited list of some such MetroWest communities:

MA State Parks and Reservations
DCR Parks and Reservations regulations permit dogs under voice control to be off-leash on a park-by-park basis. No comprehensive list of where this is permitted is available.
